This was made kind of by accident. Ted was trying to make cheesecake for my Mother’s Day dessert. However, the pie crust broke into a bunch of pieces. So he improvised. Frankenstein’s Cheesecake

Frankenstein’s Cheesecake

  You will need an oval casserole dish to make this. Ingredients

  • 1 (8oz) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon, about a couple of tsps each
  • 2 (8oz) containers of cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whip cream
  • 1 (12.8oz) container of hot fudge, warmed enough to pour
  • 1 graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 tsp softened butter (or thereabouts;Ted can’t remember)

Directions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).  Lay crescent dough flat on the bottom of the casserole dish, sprinkle with brown sugar/cinnamon mix, and bake according to package directions.  Meanwhile, mix together cream cheese and sugar. You will want to use an electric beater to break up the cream cheese. Then fold in whipped cream. Next, combine butter and crust to make a crumble, set aside. After the crescent dough is done, spread hot fudge on top. Next, pour cream cheese mixture and spread evenly. Top it all with graham cracker crumble. Let sit overnight to settle. This turned out SO good.
