“Run outside. Take a picture of the first thing you see. Run inside. Take a picture of the second thing you see. Write about the connection between these two random objects, people, or scenes.”
First Picture: Lilac Bush
Second Picture: Cuddles, my cat
You wouldn’t think there could be much in common between a lilac bush and a cat, but I assure you, there is. First off, the obvious. They are both alive. I’m sure you are rolling your eyes right now, but I told you it was obvious.
The next thing that comes to mind is that you can find both outside. However, I’m not sure that Cuddles would like it out there. She tends to startle easily. Pandora, on the other hand, would love it! There are so many things she could chase.
Third, they are both beautiful and comforting to me. I love the sight and smell of flowers. Sometimes scents can trigger a migraine, but lilac is not one of them. Cuddles loves being petted so much that she will head butt you to get your attention. Whenever I have to take a nap because of my migraines, she comes and takes one with me. She normally sleeps next to me, but once in awhile, she will sleep on me. She has also been known to sleep next to me while I’m on the computer or sleep on my lap when I’m in the recliner. As you can see, she lives up to her name.
While I was in the mood to take pictures, I got some other beauties, too.
